We know that limousines are used all the time by the rich and famous to get them to movie premières and to their hair appointments. However, limos are also used by many very powerful people such as world and political leaders.
This is because limousines are not only comfortable and spacious allowing these very important people a chance to relax and review their duties, they also offer a great deal of privacy as limousines are often specifically designed with privacy in mind.

The military and similar bodies are therefore continually conscious of how many of these expensive limousines they are using as they are using tax payers money and military funds for their own comfort.
However, while these limousines can be expensive, it is just as important for officers to have the chance to regroup with their staff and reflect on their duties on their way to an official event or while returning to their base.
